Case study

One structure, many parishes

The brief

Organise the archdiocese’s extensive information and connect the public website with a system for managing deaneries, parishes and clergy.

My role

The project combines a public information website with tools for managing a large, continuously updated database.

Information architecture

A directory that connects the information

I designed the parish directory around a shared data structure. Relationships between parishes, deaneries and clergy underpin both navigation and website administration.

WordPress / CMS

A structure built for ongoing updates

WordPress, ACF and custom PHP logic support the church’s organisational data in one website. My work also covered AJAX, the interface and SEO optimisation.
